New Postmaster, Customer Service Supervisor Welcomed Wednesday

Lori Cook has been named as Postmaster at the Lawrenceburg Post Office, and an official “welcome” was held on Wednesday.

A twenty-one year U.S. Postal Service employee, Cook began her career in Defiance, Ohio, as a city carrier. She moved from there to Akron, then transferred to Tennessee in 2000, working out of the district office in Nashville. She moved on to become a station manager in Clarksville, and three years ago was named Postmaster in Pleasant View. She was appointed as Lawrenceburg Postmaster on May 12.

Also welcomed during the special event was Customer Service Supervisor Pam Davis. Davis became a postal service employee in 1988 as a postmaster relief in Printer, Kentucky. She later transferred to Atlanta where she worked as a city carrier. In 2004 she was promoted to Customer Service Supervisor in Cumming and Bedford, Georgia. She was appointed to the Lawrenceburg position on March 31.

Both were officially welcomed during special Customer Appreciation Day events held Wednesday morning.
